MUSICAL THEATRE ,
HIP HOP, LYRICAL CONTEMPORARY

Musical theatre /Cabaret are forms of theatre combining music, songs, lip syncing and dance. The emotional content of the piece – humor, pathos, love, anger – as well as the story itself, is communicated through the words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole most often executed with Jazz dance as the foundation.

Hip hop dance mainly refers to dance styles including popping, locking, breaking, electro and house dance. The first early traces of “breaking” appeared during the 70′ in New York City. This type of dance came from the streets largely in the Hispanic and African American communities

Lyrical dance Usually an expressive interpretation of the music and lyrics, incorporating technique from ballet or jazz.

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
